Job Description
Due to expansion of the company, we are seeking an Internal Quality Assurer to join our small but perfectly formed team. As an Internal Quality Assurer you will be one of the faces of the company delivering support to ourselves as well as our 14 centres we regularly monitor. We pride ourselves on being professional, approachable, and relatable, and we ask our staff to be the same. This role would suit someone with prior experience of teaching who wishes to move into the an auditing role, or someone with a background in first aid/medical practitioner looking for a steady position and give guidance to other trainers.
Essential Skills
- Driving Licence
- Ability to problem solve
- Provide support to internal staff and external customers
- Sound knowledge of IQA requirements within a short course environment
- Hold a minimum of Level 3 Award in Education and Training (old PTLLS)
- Hold a minimum of Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work
- Hold a minimum of Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance Practices of Assessment (RQF)
Desirable Skills
- Other qualifications such as Fire Safety, Health & Safety, Mental Health, Manual Handling, Moving and Handling of People
- Be willing to undergo training to suit the needs of the business
- Experience with first aid awarding bodies (QNUK, Qualsafe, Highfield, FAA/NUCO)

Other important information
Whilst the role is for an IQA, there maybe occasions whereby you would be required to deliver our regulated courses. All equipment would be provided along with company laptop and mileage paid.
We hold regular social events for our delivery and office teams, periodic CPD days and flexible working. Also the opportunity to work within the company on other duties such as providing medical cover, supporting our direct customers with queries regarding training and advertising of the company at business events.
This role will be based full time at our head office in Yeovil, Somerset – therefore applicants must be able to commute here every day. We will not be accepting applications for remote IQA’s, nor will we be accepting freelancers for this position.
