Job Description
Due to expansion of the company, we are seeking a First Aid Trainer to join our small but perfectly formed team. As a First Aid Trainer you will be one of the faces of the company delivering a range of courses from 2 hours to 3 days depending on the needs of our customers. We pride ourselves on being professional, approachable, and relatable, and we ask our trainers to be the same. This role would suit someone with prior experience of teaching who wishes to move into the adult training industry, or someone with a background in first aid/medical practitioner looking for a steady position. Initially this role is term time only however there is the possibility of overtime and additional training courses during school holidays should the needs of the business arise.

Essential Skills
Driving Licence
Ability to problem solve
Confident in talking and demonstrating skills in front of learners
Basic skills in computers and AV equipment
Friendly, approachable and likable personality

Desirable Skills
Hold a minimum of Level 3 Award in Education and Training (old PTLLS)
Hold a minimum of Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work
Experience in delivering training courses
Other qualifications such as Fire Safety, Mental Health and Manual Handling
Be willing to undergo training to suit the needs of the business
Experience with first aid awarding bodies (QNUK, Qualsafe, Highfield, FAA/NUCO)
