FREE CPR and Defibrillator Training
In partnership with Yeovil Town Council, we are offering FREE CPR and Defibrillator training to the general public.
About the session
Earlier in 2021, the council agreed to set aside a £9,000 budget to provide up to 4 public access defibrillators to be placed around the Yeovil area. As a local training provider we felt it is important for the general community to know how and when to use these life saving devices.
We will be covering two topics:
How and when to use a defibrillator
How and when to do CPR
Please note that any participants who are under the age of 18 will need to be accompanied by an adult. Attendees do not have to do anything physical if they do not want to, however as a practical skill learners will be encourage to “give it a go”.
Whilst this session is free we do ask for donations to be given towards the cost and running of public access defibrillators within the Yeovil community. We will be accepting donations by cash or via our gofund.me page – Donate here
All covid-19 related precautions will take place as per current government guidelines at the time of the event.
